Vivek is someone who captures the moment, and enjoys it to the fullest extent. During his day, he often asks himself how best he can use the time he’s been given to grow and to reach out to others. Along with this, he feeds his mind inspiring thoughts that support his positive mental attitude and dynamic way of life. This all propels him to focus his efforts on the present day in such a way that supports his own blossoming, and that of those around him.
Through his own practice of meditation and balanced living, he actively cultivates peace and harmony within, thus allowing more of the things that are right for him to manifest in his life.
He actively uses those moments that are often taken for granted – such as the morning commute, or waiting in line at a restaurant – to feel and be more calm, centered, and joyous.
He shows appreciation for the many gifts of life by taking time to acknowledge the beautiful experiences and people that come his way.
An inward love and appreciation for Nature and her gifts has always motivated his desire for harmony, and inspired his artwork. Seeing the beauty, simplicity, majesty, and purity of Nature inspires him to seek and bring out those divine qualities within himself. His own pursuit of the Divine, is the same pursuit he follows in his artwork.
As a child, he loved to draw and from his first drawings of railroad trains, he tried to capture detailed likenesses of the objects he studied. Years later, his motivation to capture the detail and beauty of Nature led to his first venture into photography.
His current work in abstract photography grew out of a desire to go beyond a literal interpretation of Nature. Seeking to find the essences behind Nature’s manifestations, he developed camera techniques for capturing the energy, color, and life within the subjects of his work.
Through his own creative expression and divine unfoldment, Vivek offers his work and his life through his work to the world that it may help uplift and inspire others as they travel forward in their own light.
